Stefan Brogren (born 21 April 1972) is a Canadian actor, director, and producer who is best known for his mainstay role as Archie "Snake" Simpson in the Degrassi television franchise. First appearing as a student in the second series Degrassi Junior High (1987-89) and continuing into Degrassi High (1989-91), Brogren played the role of Snake throughout every subsequent entry in the franchise, reprising his role in the revival Degrassi: The Next Generation (2001-15) as a teacher and later principal, and again in Degrassi: Next Class (2016-17). Known for his visual style and character driven storytelling, Stefan has directed shows for The CW, Netflix, Hulu, Lifetime and most recently for the streamer, Tubi. Stefan is also an accomplished Producer. He has received 4 Primetime Emmy nominations for his producing work within the Degrassi franchise. Stefan’s directing has been nominated 4 times, with two wins at the Canadian Screen Awards for “Best Direction in a Youth Program or Series”. Including his 2021 nomination for Holly Hobbie. He won a Directors Guild of Canada Award in 2015 for the series Open Heart and received his fourth DGC nomination in 2017 for Degrassi: Next Class.

Anna Muylaert (born April 21, 1964) is a Brazilian screenwriter and television and film director. She is known for her fourth film, The Second Mother, which entered the 2015 Sundance Film Festival and Panorama at Berlinale film festival, where the film received the Audience Award.

Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (22 April 1870 – 21 January 1924), better known by his alias Lenin, was a Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. He served as head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1922 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924. Under his administration, Russia and then the wider Soviet Union became a one-party communist state governed by the Russian Communist Party. A Marxist, he developed a variant of this communist ideology known as Leninism. Born to a moderately prosperous middle-class family in Simbirsk, Lenin embraced revolutionary socialist politics following his brother's 1887 execution. Expelled from Kazan Imperial University for participating in protests against the Russian Empire's Tsarist government, he devoted the following years to a law degree. He moved to Saint Petersburg in 1893 and became a senior Marxist activist. In 1897, he was arrested for sedition and exiled to Shushenskoye for three years, where he married Nadezhda Krupskaya. After his exile, he moved to Western Europe, where he became a prominent theorist in the Marxist Russian Social Democratic Labour Party (RSDLP). In 1903, he took a key role in the RSDLP ideological split, leading the Bolshevik faction against Julius Martov's Mensheviks. Following Russia's failed Revolution of 1905, he campaigned for the First World War to be transformed into a Europe-wide proletarian revolution, which as a Marxist he believed would cause the overthrow of capitalism and its replacement with socialism. After the 1917 February Revolution ousted the Tsar and established a Provisional Government, he returned to Russia to play a leading role in the October Revolution in which the Bolsheviks overthrew the new regime. Lenin's Bolshevik government initially shared power with the Left Socialist Revolutionaries, elected soviets, and a multi-party Constituent Assembly, although by 1918 it had centralised power in the new Communist Party. Lenin's administration redistributed land among the peasantry and nationalised banks and large-scale industry. It withdrew from the First World War by signing a treaty conceding territory to the Central Powers, and promoted world revolution through the Communist International. Opponents were suppressed in the Red Terror, a violent campaign administered by the state security services; tens of thousands were killed or interned in concentration camps. His administration defeated right and left-wing anti-Bolshevik armies in the Russian Civil War from 1917 to 1922 and oversaw the Polish–Soviet War of 1919–1921. Responding to wartime devastation, famine, and popular uprisings, in 1921 Lenin encouraged economic growth through the market-oriented New Economic Policy. Several non-Russian nations had secured independence from the Russian Empire after 1917, but three were re-united into the new Soviet Union in 1922. His health failing, Lenin died in Gorki, with Joseph Stalin succeeding him as the pre-eminent figure in the Soviet government. Carey Hayes (b. 21 April 1961, Portland, Oregon) is a writer and producer. He is the twin brother of Chad Hayes. They are partners in the business and have written most of their work together. The two also appeared in Doublemint Gum commercials in their early years of acting in the 80's. He has written episodes of Baywatch and Baywatch Nights and has written and co-produced the TV show The Crow: Stairway to Heaven. Tomasz Kot (born 21 April 1977) is a Polish actor. He gained great popularity by portraying singer Ryszard Riedel in Jan Kidawa Błoński's 2005 film "Destined for Blues" as well as for his role as Zbigniew Religa in Łukasz Palkowski's 2014 film "Gods". In 2015, he was awarded the Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis. Most recently, Kot has received award-season buzz for his starring role as Wiktor in Paweł Pawlikowski’s feature "Cold War". The project has earned him a nomination for best actor by the European Film Awards and the movie has been recognized by the Critics' Choice Movie Awards, New York Film Critics Circle, and the National Board of Review in the best foreign language film category. In 2018 Kot appeared in Agnieszka Holland’s "Spoor" and had a starring role in Jaroslaw Marszewski’s “Bikini Blue,” the latter earning him the award for best lead actor at the Milan Film Festival.
