Huang Jianxin is a Chinese filmmaker. He also writes film scripts under the pen name Huang Xin. He is normally considered part of the fifth generation of Chinese filmmakers, due to shared traits in his works, although he was not a strictly a member of the inaugural 1982 class of the Beijing Film Academy. Huang was born in Xi'an, though his ancestral hometown was in Hebei. He joined the army at age 16, and enrolled in Northwest University in 1975. Huang entered Xi'an Film Studio after graduation, evolving from editor, script holder, assistant director to vice director. After training at Beijing Film Academy in 1983, he was elevated to director. He is now the manager of 4th production company of China Film Corporation. His 1997 film Surveillance was entered into the 47th Berlin International Film Festival.

Lavínia Gutmann Vlasak (born June 14, 1976) is a Brazilian actress and a former model. Vlasak was born in Rio de Janeiro, daughter of Chief Financial Officer Robert Vlasak and homemaker Eugênia Gutmann. The surname Vlasak is of Czech origin. It came from her paternal grandfather who, however, was born in Austria. In addition, Lavínia has German ancestry from both father and mother. In 1980, she moved to the United States when her father, who worked for a multinational corporation, was transferred there. She lived outside of Brazil from 4 to 7 years of age and therefore was literate in English. After only seven years, on her return to Brazil, she learned Portuguese. When Vlasak returned, she studied at the British School in Rio de Janeiro. The school's curriculum could focus on art education, where he became interested in acting profession. Laurent Boutonnat is a French filmmaker and music producer. He grew up in Paris, France, and developed a passion for music very early on (he played the piano from the age of five) and cinema (he made small short films at a very young age, including a strange adaptation of Bambi in 1971). He stopped studying at the age of fifteen, looking for work and taking up writing, he abandons music and became more and more interested in cinema. At the age of seventeen, he made his first film, the medium-length film, Ballade de la Féconductrice, which was screened for two weeks in Paris in 1980. He worked as a cameraman alongside reporter Jean-François Chauvel then devoted himself to producing television commercials. He is best known for discovering the French pop star Mylène Farmer together with his friend and collaborater Jérôme Dahan. They wrote Mylène's debut song "Maman a tort", and Boutonnat directed the music video for it. He has since made 20 music videos for Farmer, and videos for other artists including Alizée, and Nathalie Cardone.

Sir Antony Sher, KBE (born 14 June 1949) was an English actor of South African origin, a two-time Laurence Olivier Award winner and four-time nominee. He joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1982 and toured in many roles, as well as appearing on film and TV, and working as a writer and theatre director. He died of cancer on 3rd December 2021.

She was first known for her candid chronicling of her year as a stripper in her Pussy Ranch blog and her 2006 memoir, Candy Girl: A Year in the Life of an Unlikely Stripper. Cody achieved critical acclaim worldwide for the script of the 2007 film Juno, winning the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. A comedy-drama created by Cody, called United States of Tara, based on an idea by Steven Spielberg, was picked up for 12 episodes (including pilot) by the U.S. cable TV network Showtime, the Canadian channel The Movie Network and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. After four episodes aired, the show was renewed for a second season. Two days after the second season premiere, it was renewed for a third season. Haley Kaye Hudson (born June 14, 1986) is an American actress. She began her career at age 16 after being cast in Disney's remake of Freaky Friday opposite Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan. Hudson played the role of Peg, a member of the rock band Pink Slip and best friend of the main character, played by Lohan. During her teens and 20s, she portrayed many different characters in films and TV shows, including the roles of Debby in Marley & Me, Quinn Hodes in Weeds, Sydney Fields in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and Amanda in both Look and Look: The Series for director Adam Rifkin. In 2012, Hudson starred in the IFC horror film The Pact, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to mostly positive reviews. Gisèle Casadesus (14 June 1914 – 24 September 2017) was a French actress, who appeared in numerous theatre and film productions. She was an honorary member of the Sociétaires of the Comédie-Française, Grand Officer of the Legion of Honor, Officer of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, and Grand-Croix of the National Order of Merit. In a career spanning more than 80 years, Casadesus appeared in more than a dozen films after turning 90. Born into a family of artists in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, Gisèle was the daughter of musician, composer and conductor Henri Casadesus and harpist Marie-Louise Beetz, her older brother was actor Christian Casadesus. After receiving first prize in acting at French National Academy of Dramatic Arts at the age of twenty, Casadeus joined the Comédie-Française in 1934. The same year, she married the actor Lucien Pascal (born Lucien Probst), with whom she had four children: Jean-Claude (1935), Martine (1939), Béatrice (1942) and Dominique (1954), all artists. She became the 400th member of the Comédie-Française 1 January 1939, and honorary member on 15 April 1967. In cinema, Pierre Billon hired her in 1943 to play the role of Clotilde Grandlieus in Vautrin, adapted from Balzac's novel, alongside Michel Simon, and in 1946 for the role of Mary in L'Homme au chapeau rond, alongside Raimu.
