Age: 42
Richard Meek (born 15 June 1982) is a British musical theatre actor. Born in King's Lynn, Norfolk, Richard gained an interest in drama from an early age through taking part in much amateur dramatics at his local theatre. At the age of 16 he left home to study drama at the College of West Anglia. Five years later, he left college with GCSE, A Level and HND in Dance, Drama and Singing. He then moved to London to join the London School of Musical Theatre, where he graduated with distinction a year later. After graduating he went on to play the Mikado in Upstairs at the Gatehouse's Christmas 2004 production of The Hot Mikado on the London Fringe. The show received rave reviews, and was Time Out Critics' Choice. During early 2005, Richard spent some time doing modelling work before returning to theatre in September, when he got the part of lead vocalist in the UK tour of Give My Regards to Broadway. After finishing with the tour in November, he went straight into rehearsals for Sleeping Beauty at the Lichfield Garrick - an original pantomime, full of original songs and starring a West End musical cast - where he played Prince Claude. He also sang live on BBC Radio West Midlands at the Birmingham Symphony Hall that Christmas. Richard was involved with the tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat for almost all of 2006. Two weeks after finishing in panto, he got the part of Judah, where he was also featured as the One More Angel in Heaven soloist, the gospel soloist in Go Go Go Joseph, and the Apache dancer in Those Canaan Days. After six months, the director asked him to audition for the part of alternate Joseph. He got the role, and after only one performance was asked to play the lead for three weeks while the principal (Ian "H" Watkins) was away. Of course, he jumped at the chance, and got great reviews from the three tour stops where he played the lead - Skegness, Dundee and Wimbledon. He spent several months playing the role of Joseph three times a week and Judah for the other nine shows, and took over as principal Joseph on 22 November 2006. He played his last show as Joseph on 16 December 2006. Richard joined the UK tour of The Rocky Horror Show on 27 January 2007 in Nottingham, playing the role of Brad Majors. He was with the tour for 6 months until it closed. He played his last show as Brad on 14 July in Woking. He also understudied Frank N. Furter, but never went on in the role. In 2015 he joined the cast of The Rocky Horror Show Live which was celebrating the 40th anniversary of the film version's release. He played the dual roles of Eddie and Eddie's uncle, Dr. Everett Von Scott. The show ran for two weeks from 11 to 26 September. He rejoined the cast of The Rocky Horror Show in 2016, first playing the role of Eddie / Dr Scott replacing Paul Cattermole until switching to play Brad Majors once more later in the tour until the close of the tour on 31 December 2016 in Oxford. Morganna Love
Born: Jun 15, 1980
San Miguel de Allende, Gu
Age: 44
From an early age, Morganna discovered two things: her artistic vocation and her gender identity. When she was only four years old, she started singing and was a soloist in the school's nuns' choir. According to her own words, one day she woke up and felt her feminine identity living inside her body. She began to put on makeup and emulate female TV stars. This of course, caused a shock in her family and she faced rejection. She first defined herself as a gay boy, despite knowing that deep down she was a woman. She began her musical training at the School of Music of the University of Guanajuato. In 2001 she decided to emigrate to Mexico City to continue her musical training at the National Conservatory of Music. Eventually, she began to collaborate with an opera company. There she decided to define her identity and began her transition process, which lasted four years without any family support. After a process of hormonal and psychological therapy, in 2012 she decided to undergo sex reassignment surgery in Thailand. There, thanks to her participation in a trans beauty contest entitled Miss International Queen, she learned of the existence of the prestigious surgeon Preecha Triewtanon, one of the great world eminences of sex reassignment surgeries. It was he who gifted her the surgery. Her operation was performed by surgeon Burin Wangjiraniran of the PAI (Preecha Aesthetic Institute) clinic and brought Morganna closer to the ideal life she was seeking. Interestingly, her transition as a woman was a crucial part of her professional recognition. Morganna's transition was captured by filmmaker Flavio Florencio in a documentary entitled Made in Bangkok. The documentary was released worldwide in 2017 and achieved several recognitions, including an Ariel Award nomination from the Mexican Film Academy for Best Documentary Feature. The success of the documentary brought Morganna the spotlight. She intervened as an actress in the series Crónica de castas (2014) and in the short film Oasis (2017), by Alejandro Zuno. Her most important challenge, was the release of her first album titled Dos vidas en una (2017), where she shows her prodigious voice in a combination of genres ranging, from opera arias, to pop ballads. In 2018, Morganna participated in the reality show The Voice, in its Mexican edition, making it all the way to the semifinals on Anitta's team. In 2017, Morganna also published her autobiographical book entitled In the Right Body. At the same time, Morganna continues to perform in different venues around the world. In 2018, Morganna lent her voice to the character of Blanca Evangelista in the Latin American dub of the Fox Premium series Pose. In 2020, Morganna participates in the film 10 Songs for Charity, a Dutch production directed by Karin Junger. Her activism for the respect and visibility of trans women in society, made that, in 2020, Love was recognized by Forbes as one of the 100 most powerful women in Mexico. Morganna also serves as an activist for the United Nations. In 2021, Morganna participates in the HBO series Maid.
