Giovanni Boccaccio was an Italian writer, poet, correspondent of Petrarch, and an important Renaissance humanist. Boccaccio wrote a number of notable works, including "The Decameron" and "On Famous Women". He wrote his imaginative literature mostly in Tuscan vernacular, as well as other works in Latin, and is particularly noted for his realistic dialogue which differed from that of his contemporaries, medieval writers who usually followed formulaic models for character and plot.

Thomas Dutronc (born 16 June 1973 in Paris) is a French singer and jazz manouche guitarist. His mother is the singer, songwriter, guitarist Françoise Hardy; his father the singer, songwriter, guitarist, and film actor Jacques Dutronc. On 13 February 2008, he received the UNAC award for his song "J'aime plus Paris". It also became the most played French single around the world during 2008. On 8 March 2008, he was nominated at the 23rd Victoires de la Musique in two categories, as new artist of the year and album of the year. In 2020, he released the album Frenchy, which features guest performances by artists such as Iggy Pop, Dianna Krall, Billy Gibbons, and Rocky Gresset. Heavy-set American character actor whose typical screen personae tended to be gruff westerners, irate cops and hard-boiled gangsters. A decorated Korean War veteran, Bieri appeared on stage from 1954, both on ('Death of a Salesman', 1975) and off-Broadway. He latterly acted with the ensemble of San Diego's Old Globe Theatre (notably, as the tough captain in 'Mr. Roberts', 1995). On screen from 1962 as a bit part player, he went on to have a prolific career as guest star of 1970's and 80's TV shows. Bieri also starred in his own, somewhat short-lived NBC sitcom, Joe's World (1979), as a Detroit house painter with five kids and assorted problems. In private life, he was said to have been a keen fisherman and sailor. Bieri died in May 2001 in Woodland Hills from cancer at the age of 71.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.  Kelly Steven Blatz (born June 16, 1987) is an American actor and singer. Blatz made his acting debut in The Oakley Seven (2006). He had a brief role in the horror film Simon Says and appears in the 2008 remake of Prom Night. Blatz played a heart-wrenching role in the independent feature film April Showers. He has since become well-known for his role as Aaron Stone in the Disney XD television show of the same name, and Blatz is also the lead singer of Los Angeles-based vintage rock band CAPRA. He dated Blake Lively from 2004-2007. CAPRA has their debut LP, "Gypsy Jones" available on iTunes and Amazon. Their single "Low Day" was featured in the Disney XD original picture, Skyrunners, that Blatz also starred in. Sky magazine has also named him as “the one to watch in 2010”. TBS has cast him in an hourlong pilot, Glory Daze, with Tim Meadows. They lead a largely young, ensemble cast that includes Julianna Guill, Matt Bush and Drew Seeley.
